The pink powder coating on the ICE chain indicates overheating, changing colour to alert users when safe temperature limits are exceeded. It transforms from pink to brown and then to black at 300°C, signaling that the chain is unsafe to use.
This innovative feature not only enhances safety by preventing the use of unsafe chains but also extends the life of the equipment by ensuring that it is only used within safe temperature ranges.
One of the standout features of RUD ICE chain is its weight. A 30% reduction compared to Grade 80 chains makes it easier and safer to handle, without compromising on strength. In fact, these boast a 60% higher working load limit than grade 80 chains, meaning they can handle more demanding tasks with ease.
RUD ICE chain’s resilience is unmatched, performing flawlessly in temperatures ranging from -60°C to +300°C. The chain is operational from -60 to + 200°C without any reduction in the WLL, the working load limit is then reduced to 90% from +200°C – +250°C. The chain can operate at +250°C -+300°C reduced to 60% of the WLL.
