Hardened, tempered or case hardened steel delivers exceptional resistance to abrasion, vibration and fatigue. Optimised chain geometry, controlled heat treatment and rigorous testing ensure outstanding endurance, extending chain life and reducing replacement intervals.

Limit Gauge

The RUD limit gauges provide a fast, accurate, and safe way to determine hoist chain discard condition. They measure external pitch and diameter increases caused by wear or distortion and allow multiple chain sizes to be checked using a single device.

Discard maturity is identified through external measurement of pitch and diameter (11 + 2d).
