Enhanced shape and strengthened
RUD UK will be exhibiting at DVD 2026, presenting its range of lifting, lashing and traction equipment for military applications. The exhibition takes place at UTAC Millbrook on 16–17 September, where RUD UK will be located on stand C3-A15.
Ready when it matters
During military operations, equipment transport and deployment, reliability is essential. Drawing on more than 150 years of engineering experience, RUD develops and manufactures lifting, lashing and traction solutions for the demanding conditions faced by the armed forces, whether operating on land, at sea or in the air.
RUD is an established partner to the armed forces and a certified manufacturer for the military and defence industry. RUD has been a NATO supplier since 1969, holds over 1,000 military supply numbers and offers products compliant with relevant MIL-SPEC and STANAG standards.
Solutions for land, sea and air
RUD’s defence portfolio includes lifting points, lashing points, lifting and lashing systems, non-skid chains and bespoke engineered solutions. The range supports applications from lifting and handling military vehicles and equipment to securing heavy loads for transport and maintaining mobility in challenging terrain.
For land based operations, RUD supplies lifting and load-securing equipment for heavy vehicles and military machinery, alongside non-skid chains designed to provide traction in snow, ice and difficult off-road conditions.
At sea, lifting and securing equipment must withstand corrosive salt water, harsh weather and extreme temperatures. RUD offers systems designed for these environments, including products certified in accordance with DNV. For air transport, weight-optimised lashing chains and lifting points provide secure load restraint while addressing the demands of extreme G-forces and vibration.
Engineered for demanding defence applications
RUD’s specialist lifting point range includes the ACP-TURNADO, which automatically aligns with the direction of the load and is suitable for rotating, tilting and turning applications. The M30 version is compliant with STANAG 4062 and MIL-STD 209K.
The range also includes the STANAG-ABA, a one piece forged lifting point designed to withstand vibration and shock loads, alongside weldable and threaded lashing points, high-strength lashing chains and complete load-securing systems.
RUD also develops bespoke lifting and lashing solutions for specific defence applications. These include custom configured lifting sling sets for handling armoured vehicle components, as well as lashing systems designed for heavy duty military trailers and equipment transport.
Meet RUD UK at DVD 2026
The RUD UK team will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss lifting, lashing and traction requirements with defence manufacturers, vehicle integrators, equipment suppliers and military stakeholders.
